Real Touch Marker Brown 1 - matte (Gunze / Mr.Hobby)

A marker for fine weathering: hints of grime, streaking, shading and a touch of rust. Unlike liquid panel line paints, which flow into engraved grooves by capillary action on their own, this marker is drawn directly onto the surface and the effect you have drawn is then blended and softened (with a blender or a dampened cotton swab) into a soft transition. A different tool, a different job: panel line paint runs into the grooves, while a real touch marker paints an effect onto the surface. The Brown 1 shade belongs to a range of several brown tones that can be combined with each other.

Use

• Suggest the effect, a streak, a run, a shadow, and then blend it out into the surface as a soft transition.
• Ideal for hints of grime, dust, grease and light rust on robots and on military vehicles.
• It works best on a matte surface, where the color takes hold well and can be blended.
• Suited to gradual layering: repeat a weaker effect rather than laying too much down at once.
