This Grom-1 guided weapon in 1:72 scale is a 3D-printed resin accessory from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin model of a current Russian air-to-ground guided weapon carried under the designation Grom-1, in 1:72 scale, from Temp Models. The resin print manages the body and the thin lifting surfaces in one piece. It is not an aircraft model but a separate store to be hung under the wing of a finished model.
Current Russian weapons of this category stand on the border between a guided missile and a glide bomb: they are derived from the body of a tactical missile, but some of them replace the motor with a larger warhead and rely on gliding down from altitude. The carrier can therefore release them from a considerable distance without flying into the reach of air defenses. On a model such a weapon stands out for the fairly large lifting surfaces on a short body.
Release the body from the supports on a flat work mat and without bending it. Sand the marks down with fine paper and wet sand, with respiratory protection. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Check the lifting surfaces against the light to see whether they are twisted. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
