The Kh-38 guided missile in 1:72 is a printed stores accessory for models of current Russian aircraft. An airplane model it is not.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on armament set in 1:72 scale from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models, printed from photopolymer. The contents are a modern precision-guided short-range aircraft missile meant against ground targets. The set is hung under a finished kit and does not make up an aircraft model on its own.
The Kh-38 is a Russian precision-guided short-range aircraft missile, which the manufacturer places among high-precision weapons. It came about as the successor to older tactical missiles and is built on a modular basis, so the same body is combined with different types of seekers and warheads according to the nature of the target. It is carried by current Russian multirole aircraft and ground-attack types on standard pylons.
The parts are printed from photopolymer, so thin print supports are left on them. Cut them away with a sharp scalpel or photo-etch nippers and sand the pad they leave with fine abrasive paper. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue, because polystyrene cement has no effect on this material. Lay down a filler primer before painting; it will at the same time reveal any remains of the supports. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
