The launchers for the MiG-31 1:32 are a 3D printed resin set of launchers and pylons for guided missiles for a model of the MiG-31 in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains 3D printed resin launchers on which the MiG-31 carries air-to-air guided missiles, in 1:32 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for the load. The print holds the sharp edges of the beams, the attachment fittings and the small connectors, which a mold inevitably rounds off.
The MiG-31 carries its main armament of heavy long-range missiles semi-recessed under the fuselage, where ejector units hold them and launch the missile downward. The lighter missiles hang on pylons under the wing. This arrangement is unmistakable on the MiG-31 and sets it apart from fighters that carry all their weapons on rails. For a model the pylons are the detail that decides whether the weapons sit in the right position.
First wash the 3D printed parts in warm water with a little dish soap, so that they are rid of the residue of printing resin. Cut the supports off with a sharp blade or a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the marks down with your airways protected. Resin does not bond with cement for polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue. Lay a thin coat of primer on before painting, otherwise the paint holds poorly on a smooth print. Assemble and paint the weapons separately and glue them onto the pylon only once the varnish has dried, so that the fine surfaces are not rubbed.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
