A set of carrier devices for the Su-25 in 1:32 scale is a 3D printed accessory from Temp Models. It serves to attach the external stores to the pylons of a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed carrier devices for the Su-25 ground-attack aircraft in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. They are neither weapons nor a model of the aircraft but the link between the two: the device is mounted on the pylon under the wing and only then is a rocket or a rocket pod slung onto it. The printed parts carry detail of the lugs and the supporting sections that an injection mold cannot manage.
The Su-25 carries its weapons on ten pylons under the wing, and that is exactly why the carrier equipment is so conspicuous on it. Two basic kinds are used: a launch rail, from which a rocket departs along a rail, and an ejector rack, which first pushes the load away from the aircraft. Each has its own shape and its own method of attachment, so a mix-up is noticeable on a model. Without these parts the weapons hang unnaturally close to the wing.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the carrier equipment separately and glue it onto the model only after the landing gear and the cockpit are finished.
The set is an addition to building a model, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
