The set of launchers for the Su-27 1:32 is a 3D printed resin set of launchers for air-to-air guided missiles for a model of the Su-27 in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains 3D printed resin launchers on which the Su-27 carries air-to-air guided missiles, in 1:32 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for the load. The print holds the sharp edges of the beams, the rails and the attachment fittings, which in an injection mold are inevitably rounded off.
The Su-27 carries air-to-air missiles on launchers and on pylons under the wing, under the air intakes and between the engine nacelles. The lighter close-combat missiles are fired from rail launchers, the heavier medium-range missiles from pylons of their own. It is precisely this arrangement of pylons that gives the Flanker its characteristic silhouette with weapons in photographs. For a model it is the detail that decides whether the weapons sit properly or hang in the air.
First wash the 3D printed parts in warm water with a little dish soap, so that they are rid of the residue of printing resin. Cut the supports off with a sharp blade or a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the marks down with your airways protected. Resin does not bond with cement for polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue. Lay a thin coat of primer on before painting, otherwise the paint holds poorly on a smooth print. Assemble and paint the weapons separately and glue them onto the pylon only once the varnish has dried, so that the fine surfaces are not rubbed.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
