Landing gear wheels for the Su-25 in 1:32 scale, the second variant are a 3D printed replacement for the parts from the kit, from Temp Models. An addition to a build, not a model of the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed landing gear wheels for the Su-25 ground-attack aircraft in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. The manufacturer lists it as the second variant alongside the basic wheel set for the same type. It is not a model of the aircraft but a replacement for the parts from the kit, with a crisper tread pattern and finer relief on the hub.
The Su-25 is a single-seat ground-attack aircraft for direct support of ground troops, built for operation from field airstrips. It has a sturdy landing gear with low-pressure tires that can take an unpaved surface, and the main legs retract forward into nacelles on the sides of the fuselage. Over its long service several types of wheels and tires were used on the aircraft, so different wheel sets for the same type are nothing unusual.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the wheel in stages: the hub first, then mask it and finish the tire. Dust pigment holds in the tread pattern on its own.
The set is an addition to building a model, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
