The wheel set for the Su-34, the late form, 1:32 is a 3D printed resin set of landing gear wheels of the late form for a model of the Su-34 in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin 3D printed set replaces the landing gear wheels of a model of the Su-34 in 1:32 scale, and that in the late form. Alongside it the manufacturer also lists a set for the earlier machines, so choose according to which machine you are building. The wheels show the deformation of the tire under the weight of the aircraft, which on the Su-34 is considerable.
The Su-34 is a Russian two-seat tactical bomber of the Su-27 family with a crew sitting side by side in an armored cockpit. Its high take-off weight forced a strengthened landing gear, where each main leg carries a pair of wheels one behind the other. During production the wheels and the hubs changed, so the later machines are told apart from the first batches by them. On an aircraft standing still the tires are clearly settled and soiled.
First wash the 3D printed parts in warm water with a little dish soap, so that they are rid of the residue of printing resin. Cut the supports off with a sharp blade or a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the marks down with your airways protected. Resin does not bond with cement for polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue. Lay a thin coat of primer on before painting, otherwise the paint holds poorly on a smooth print. Fit the weighted wheels so that the flattened part of the tire sits on the surface, otherwise the model does not stand naturally.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
