Replacement landing gear wheels in 1:72 scale from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models, printed from photopolymer. For this set the manufacturer gives finely detailed nose and braked wheels in the weighted state and a nose gear mudguard of the correct shape. It replaces the plastic wheels from the kit and does not make up an aircraft model.
The Su-35 is a deeply upgraded fighter of the Su-27 family with new avionics and with engines with thrust vectoring. The strengthened airframe and the larger fuel load mean a higher takeoff weight, so the landing gear was given sturdier legs and the tires flatten clearly on a standing aircraft. The mudguard on the nose leg protects the engine intakes from debris off the runway.
Cut the print supports away with a scalpel and sand the pad they leave, ideally on the side that sits on the ground. Glue the wheels with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue. Lay down a filler primer before painting. Do not paint the tires pure black; a very dark gray with a lighter dust pigment on the sidewalls and in the tread is better. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
