A resin set of landing gear wheels for a Su-35 model in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models, carrying the suffix 3D in its name. With that suffix the manufacturer tells the set apart from the other wheel set for the same aircraft, which it also makes. The parts replace the wheels from a plastic kit. It is not an aircraft kit.
Against the original Su-27 the Su-35 has a higher take-off weight, a reworked airframe and more powerful engines. The main landing gear legs retract forward into the fuselage and the nose leg under the cockpit. The wheels carry a machine that takes off with a large load of fuel and armament, and their design was adjusted during production, which is one of the reasons why makers of accessories offer more than one variant for a single type.
Cut the supports off with a new blade and level the mating face on abrasive paper laid on glass. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water and let it dry. Paint the hub and the tire separately and handle the transition with a circular mask. Settle a thin layer of dust on the tread with pigment.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
