Meng kids U.S. B-24 Heavy Bomber is a charmingly stylized egg kit of the B-24 heavy bomber with easy snap-together assembly, with no need for glue or paints.
Responsibility details are not available.
This kit from the Meng kids range is a cartoon, egg shaped (super-deformed) version of the American B-24 heavy bomber. The subject is shortened into a chubby, cute shape but keeps the characteristic features of the real aircraft. The parts are designed to snap together, so no glue is needed for the build. Stickers are enclosed for the markings, so the model does not have to be sprayed with paint.
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was an American four-engined heavy bomber of the Second World War. It excelled in long range and a large bomb load and became one of the most widely built bombers of its time. In egg form it keeps the typical nose, the twin vertical tails and the high-mounted wing.
Thanks to the snap-fit design the build is fast and can be managed by a beginner or by a child under supervision. Anyone who wants can still treat the model with modeling paint for a more realistic look; the enclosed stickers finish the model without painting. A drop of cement for plastic can be added for firmer joints.
The model is supplied unassembled. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise; they are not needed for the basic build, though.
