Responsibility details are not available.
A set of 3D-printed resin figures of Russian Air Force pilots in 1:72 scale from Temp Models. The figures are modeled from real photographs and stand in poses typical of the preparation for flight, so they suit a model on the flight line as well as a diorama. It is not an aircraft model but the crew that belongs with it and that gives a scene its sense of scale.
The gear of a current Russian fighter pilot consists of a flight suit, a g-suit, a parachute harness and a protective helmet with an oxygen mask. In a warm climate the outfit is simplified: the pilot walks out to the aircraft in a light summer suit and puts the helmet on only at the machine, so in photographs he carries it in his hand or has it hooked on the harness. It is exactly these small things that set a figure from a hot airfield apart from a figure in gear for a cold region.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks with fine abrasive paper and protect your airway while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). On a smooth print the paint holds longer if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. In 1:72 scale, paint in layers and concentrate on the face and the hands.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
