Mr. Weathering Brush Set Hard

Mr. Weathering Brush Set Hard (Gunze)

A set of modeling brushes with stiffer, firmer bristles from Gunze, intended for the drybrushing technique and for creating weathering effects. The harder bristles suit more pronounced wear, bringing out edges, scuffs and surface texture. This is neither a kit nor a paint but a tool for building and weathering models.

Use

• Pick up a small amount of paint on the tip of the brush and wipe the excess off onto paper, so that only a minimum of pigment is left.
• Transfer the paint onto the edges and raised surfaces of the model with light strokes or by tapping.
• Use the stiffer bristles for more emphatic drybrushing and a coarser texture of wear.
• After working, clean the brushes with a thinner suited to the paint you have used.

Who the set is for

For modelers who weather their models and want to keep harder tools set aside for the drybrushing technique, so that their ordinary painting brushes are not worn down.

Paints are not included in the package. When cleaning, follow the instructions for the paints and thinners you have used, and make sure of ventilation.
