Mr. Weathering Brush Set Soft

Mr. Weathering Brush Set Soft (Gunze)

A set of dry brushes with a soft tip from the Japanese brand Gunze, developed for weathering. The soft variant has a yielding tip of fine fibers that suits delicate blending, soft transitions and gentle spreading of pigments or pastels over the surface of a model. There are two sizes in the set, so you can cover larger areas as well as smaller details.

Use

• Pick up a small amount of pigment or weathering paste on the tip of the brush.
• Tap the excess off on paper or a cloth so that the brush stays almost dry.
• Spread it with a gentle stroke over edges, raised parts and flat areas to create soft transitions and a dusty look.
• The soft tip is ideal for blurring the hard edges of earlier effects.

Who it is for

For modelers who work on realistic weathering of vehicles, aircraft and figures and want a tool made exactly for dry application of pigments. It complements the harder variant, which suits coarser chipping better.

This is neither a paint nor a chemical, only a tool. After use, tap the brushes out and wash them if needed, so that pigment does not build up in the fibers.
