The original is the Evangelion with the designation Production Model-02, that is one of the main machines of the Japanese animated series. The qualifier Ver.1.5 and the designation Multi-color Edition are part of the official name of the set and set it apart from the other editions of the same machine. The manufacturer does not state a scale for this line; it is a model of a character, not a reduction of real hardware.
In the story the Evangelions are giant humanoid machines directed by young pilots and committed against supernatural opponents. Unit 02 is the most striking of them, because you will recognize it by its rich red coloring and by the head with four eyes. In shape it is a slender, markedly stylized figure with long limbs and with panels that suggest the covering of joints, so the model differs substantially from classic military kits.
With a tall slender figure the pose decides the result, so think it over before you start joining larger sections. Scrape the parting lines off the smooth panels, because it is precisely on them that they would be most visible. Separate the color areas with masking tape in parts and run the dividing edges along the shape of the panels. Accentuating the engraved lines with a dark shade will give the model depth, and a final uniform coat of varnish will even out the gloss, which easily diverges with a combination of colors.
