Lifecolor Ash Powder Pigment

This is a finely ground powder pigment in an ash shade intended for weathering, not an opaque paint. It serves to imitate ash, dust, soot and burn marks on the surfaces of models and in dioramas. It comes in a bottle with a volume of 22 ml.

Use

• Applied dry with a soft brush into recesses, onto exhausts, burnt areas and dusty surfaces.
• It can be mixed with water, alcohol or mineral spirits and applied with an airbrush with a nozzle from 0.3 mm up.
• Build the intensity of the effect up gradually in layers and fix it at the end with a fixative or matte varnish.
• It combines with other pigments for a realistic transition between shades of dust and ash.

Suitable for modelers finishing aircraft, vehicles, figures or dioramas who want to add realistic traces of wear and burning.
