An injection-molded plastic kit of the Avenger pedestal-mounted turret (Pedestal Mounted Stinger) with FIM-92 Stinger missiles in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. It is the turret module of the American mobile short-range air defense system on its own, not a complete vehicle. From it you build the launch turret with two clusters of launch tubes for Stinger missiles, the gunner's seat and the mount. The module is ideal as a pedestal accessory on a display base, in a diorama, or as a replacement turret on another carrier.
Bond the parts with modeling cement for plastic, and fine accessories with super glue (cyanoacrylate) if needed. Paint and pick out the interior and the mechanism of the turret before it is closed up. Apply a primer before painting, spray thin coats with an airbrush, and bring the surface to life with a wash and a dry brush to emphasize the detail.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the carrier vehicle are not included in the package.
