This is a resin set of accessories from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog in 1:72 scale. It is NOT a kit of the vehicle but a detail set of matching stowage and equipment with which you bring an already built model of the light Sd.Kfz. 222 armored reconnaissance car to life and make it look lived in. The set usually contains cast jerrycans, crates, tarpaulins, packs and other small gear that turns a model into a believable diorama vehicle in the field.
The Sd.Kfz. 222 was a German light armored reconnaissance car (leichter Panzerspähwagen) used by the Wehrmacht from the end of the 1930s and throughout the Second World War. It served for reconnaissance and liaison and was armed with a 20 mm autocannon and a machine gun in an open turret. The crews routinely hung personal gear and supplies on the vehicle, which is exactly what this set captures.
First wash the parts free of remnants of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. We recommend a base of primer, then painting with an airbrush and picking the detail out with washes and pigments. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as an accessory. The basic model of the vehicle, glue and paints are not included in the package.
