A metal collector model of a military vehicle from Hobby Master, the manufacturer's part number HG3301. Assembled and painted at the factory, meant to go straight on display.
Responsibility details are not available.
Under the designation HG3301 comes a finished model of a military ground vehicle from Hobby Master. This range is made as collector's goods rather than as a kit, so the model is not worked on but displayed. It comes out of the box in the form in which it is meant to stand in a display case, its color rendering and markings included.
The basis is a metal casting onto which the manufacturer fits plastic parts in the places where a finer shape is needed. Machine painting and the printing of the markings follow. That is exactly why the surface is uniform and without the transitions that would have to be tidied up on a hand-painted kit.
The most suitable place is a closed display case or a shelf out of reach of direct sunlight, which lightens the factory colors. Remove dust dry with a soft brush, or with a gentle stream of air. Wet wiping and cleaning agents do not belong on the finish and may wipe the printed markings away as well.
The model will appeal to collectors of military vehicles who are assembling a coherent display case, and to modelers who find a finished piece useful among kits under construction. It also serves well as a gift, because the recipient needs no modeling equipment. The package holds the model on its own; paints, glue and a display case are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
