About product

Spitfire Mk.IX - Simply Masks 1:24 (HGW)

A set of self-adhesive masks from the Czech brand HGW, from the Simply Masks line. It is NOT an aircraft model but an accessory for the build: precisely cut masks for spraying the frames of the canopy and of the other glazing on the large model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX in 1:24 scale.

Use

  • You stick the masks onto the glazing following the frames and mask the surrounding areas off.
  • You spray the frames with an airbrush or a brush and take the masks off once dry.
  • The large 1:24 scale sets higher demands on the cleanness of the frames, and that is where masks help the most.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers building the large Spitfire Mk.IX in 1:24 scale.
  • Those who want perfectly sharp frames without going over them by hand.
  • Advanced builders as well as collectors of large models.

This is an accessory (masks), not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
