Twenty-fourth scale forgives very little, so 1:24 aircraft canopy masks count as standard equipment rather than a luxury. The kabuki templates here are cut for large kits and run from basic hood sets to extended versions taking in wheels and undercarriage bays, plus masks for crosses, numbers and camouflage demarcation.

The scale is dominated by the Spitfire and the Bf 109, and both have insignia templates here that replace a thick decal with sprayed paint. Pick the airframe itself from the 1:24 aircraft model kits, while other scales of template live under canopy masks for model aircraft. If you would rather apply wet markings after all, look at 1:24 and 1:28 aircraft decals.
