An injection-molded plastic model of the police version of the classic Range Rover in 1:24 scale by Italeri. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is a conventional plastic kit meant to be glued and sprayed. The package holds decal markings for several police schemes; for the actual contents and the number of parts follow the enclosed instructions and the markings on the box.
The first-generation Range Rover, today called the Range Rover Classic, was a British luxury off-road vehicle built from 1970. It combined off-road ability with the comfort of a passenger car, permanent four-wheel drive and a V8 engine. In its police form it served with British and European forces thanks to its cross-country ability and its roominess, where it was used for patrol and highway duties.
With car models, finish and paint the body first, ideally over a primer and with a gloss varnish under the decals so that the markings settle without silvering. Paint the interior and the chassis separately and fit them once they are dry. Glue the glazing at the very end with thin cement for plastic or with canopy adhesive so that the clear parts do not fog. The chrome trim and the light bars come into their own with a separate spray.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
