DIY Mini World - Mini Bedroom

What the kit is about

The item belongs to the DIY Mini World series, that is to the group of small kits a customer assembles themselves. This variant carries the motif of a bedroom and the result of the build is a reduced room that can be stood on a shelf, on a table or in a display case. The building is a pastime in itself, and the finished piece then stays as a decoration or as a gift.

Assembly without glue

The kit is one of the models that are assembled without gluing. The parts therefore hold together by themselves and no tube of glue, or its fumes in the room, is needed to finish it. Waiting for joints to dry is avoided as well, so it is possible to build as you go and to break off at any time.

Building tips

• Work on a light surface with raised edges, where small parts are easy to find and do not roll away.
• Before starting, sort the parts by size into bowls; that saves searching during the build.
• Follow the enclosed instructions from the manufacturer, as the order of the steps tends to be crucial with miniatures.
• Press the joints home with a blunt tool, not with a fingernail, so that no marks are left on the parts.
• Stand the finished piece out of direct sun, as colored surfaces fade under it.

Who it is for

The set will be appreciated by anyone who likes handwork with small things and is looking for a build without glue and paints. That is exactly why it suits someone who is only starting with models as well. The package contains only the parts of the kit and the instructions. A display case, a base, glue and paints are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
