A collector's resin bust in 1:10 scale from the Life Miniatures brand. It is not a vehicle kit but a portrait bust for experienced modelers and figure painters to glue and paint. The package consists of polyurethane resin castings including a turned base.
The bust captures a German U-boat commander of the Second World War period in the typical leather coat and commander's cap, as we know him from the setting of the submarine war in the Atlantic. The subject refers loosely to the atmosphere of period service life aboard a submarine.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and clean up the parting seams. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Use a resin primer and apply the paints in layers: a bust of this format comes out best with well-worked shading of skin tones and materials.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
