A collector's resin bust of a British soldier of the First World War in 1:10 scale from Life Miniatures. The set holds cast resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is intended for experienced modelers and collectors of figures.
The subject is a British infantryman of the First World War period, dated to 1916. That year saw extensive ground operations on the Western Front, including the fighting on the Somme. The bust works out the period uniform, the gear and the headgear of the British infantry of that time; the motif of a letter to an unknown soldier points to the commemorative side of the theme.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and dry-fit them. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Acrylics or oils with gradual shading suit the painting of the face and the khaki uniform.
It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
