Vallejo Rust Texture

An acrylic texture effect from the Vallejo weathering series that creates coarse, grainy rust with the relief of flaking metal. It contains a fine filler and pigments in a water-thinnable acrylic resin, so it is solvent-free and non-flammable. It is supplied ready to use.

Use

• It is applied with a brush or by stippling onto places attacked by corrosion, for example exhausts, fenders, tanks and neglected areas.
• A heavier layer emphasizes the relief of flaking rust; a thin one creates only a hint of corrosion.
• The effect can be fine-tuned with pigments and washes into a layered patina.
• Tools are cleaned with soap and water.
