Responsibility details are not available.
A detail set from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models in 1:72 scale, printed from photopolymer. According to the manufacturer it holds blanking plugs for the air intakes, the landing lights and the exhaust nozzles, which protect the aircraft from foreign objects, dust and dirt getting in, and further wheel chocks with which a parked aircraft is secured against moving.
A parked jet aircraft is always plugged on the apron. Colored covers are pushed into the intakes and the nozzles so that no dust, moisture or foreign object gets inside that could wreck the compressor on start-up. On the Su-34, according to the manufacturer, the landing lights are covered as well. The wheels are secured with chocks. In photographs of parked aircraft these conspicuous covers are there practically always, and on a model they are visible at once.
Cut the print supports away with a scalpel and sand the pad. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue. In practice the plugs were painted in conspicuous warning shades, most often red, and often carried ribbons with lettering, so on an otherwise gray model they catch the eye at once. The chocks under the wheels used to be wooden or rubber. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
