Responsibility details are not available.
A set of ground equipment in 1:72 scale from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models. The manufacturer lists it as a set of two pieces printed from photopolymer. The ladders serve the crew for getting in and out and for work during ground servicing, so they add to an aircraft model an element that gives the scene both scale and a story.
Ground boarding ladders are part of the essential equipment of every frontline airfield. The crew climbs them into the cockpit and technicians use them to reach the engines, the avionics and the armament. The Su-24 is a Soviet two-seat tactical bomber with variable-geometry wings and a crew seated side by side, so ground equipment moved around its cockpit and its stores very often.
The parts are printed from photopolymer and are held on thin print supports; cut those away with a sharp scalpel and sand the pad. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue. Ladders were usually in a metal or a warning color, so once a filler primer is laid down a dark wash into the detail and fine chipping on the edges of the steps will stand out. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
