Responsibility details are not available.
A resin airfield standing ladder for the Su-33 carrier fighter in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. It serves the pilot for getting in and out and the ground crew for working on the cockpit. Printing in resin holds the thin rungs and the frame in one piece. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a finished model and for a scene on a deck or at an airfield.
The Su-33 is a heavy fighter with the cockpit set high above the ground and with no built-in ladder. On the deck of an aircraft carrier there is little room, so wheeled equipment has to be compact and taken away quickly as soon as the machine is getting ready to taxi. That is exactly why the crew on a deck are so conspicuous: they move around the aircraft with trolleys and ladders in a precisely laid-out sequence.
Release the thin parts from the supports with a new blade over a working surface. Sand the burrs with fine abrasive paper, wet. Assemble the structure on a flat surface and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Deck equipment is exposed to salt spray, so weathering more toward gray and suggested chipping on the edges of the frame suit it.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
