The airfield standing ladder for the Su-57 in 1:48 scale is a 3D-printed resin accessory from Temp Models. An accessory for the flight line, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin airfield standing ladder for the Su-57 in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. It serves the pilot for getting in and out and the ground crew for work on the cockpit. Printing in resin holds the thin rungs and the frame in one piece, so there is no building it up from wire. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a finished model and for an airfield scene.
The Su-57 is a new generation Russian fighter on which the smooth surface of the airframe is part of the design intent. A fixed built-in ladder would disturb it, so a separate wheeled structure is brought up to the aircraft on the flight line. In photographs from a base it is a regular sight, and for a model on a shelf it gives the sense of scale that a large fighter otherwise lacks.
Release the thin parts from the supports with a new blade over a working surface. Sand the burrs off with fine abrasive paper, wet. Assemble the structure on a flat surface and glue it with cyanoacrylate, otherwise the ladder will stand crooked. After the base color, suggest scuffs on the edges and settle dust on the feet with a dry pigment.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
