This is a set of water-based (water-thinnable) acrylic metallic paints from the True Metallic Metal line by Vallejo. The set covers one shade, the warm old copper Ancient Copper, in four tones that follow on logically from one another (light, base, shade and airbrush) in 18 ml bottles. It allows smooth shading of metal from bright edges to deep shadows.

Use

• Painting copper and bronze surfaces with the true metallic metal (TMM) technique
• Suited to fantasy, historical and wargaming miniatures
• Application with a brush and with an airbrush (a separate airbrush tone is in the set)
• Stir the metallic paint thoroughly before use, as the pigment sinks to the bottom
• It looks best over a smooth, primed ground
