The Tamiya TS-65 Pearl Clear spray paint is a solvent-based synthetic lacquer in a pressurized can with a volume of 100 ml. It is a clear pearl lacquer that is applied over an already painted surface and gives it a fine pearlescent shimmer. The shade of the base is preserved; it only gains depth and an iridescent sheen.

Use

• It is applied as a top layer over a dry colored base coat; on its own it is clear and does not cover the color.
• Shake the container thoroughly before use and during work as well.
• Apply from a distance of about 25–30 cm in several thin coats; the intensity of the pearl effect grows with the number of coats.
• The final look depends on the color of the base; it comes out best on the deep painted surfaces of car models.
• The lacquer dries quickly; for maximum gloss a clear lacquer can be added.
