A resin model of a universal airfield cart in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. It is not an aircraft model or a part of one but equipment that serves on a flight line for moving tools, parts and materials. Printing in resin manages the frame, the wheels and the small details in one piece. The accessory is intended for an airfield scene.
More work goes on around a combat aircraft on the ground than it seems: fuel and fluids are topped up, systems are checked, parts are replaced. All of this is brought up to the machine on carts, which stand around the aircraft and disappear into the hangar once the work is over. In a diorama they are rewarding precisely because they fill the empty space around a model and suggest the action.
Release the parts from the supports with a new blade over a working surface; the frame and the tow handle are thin. Sand the burrs off with fine abrasive paper, wet. Assemble the structure on a flat surface and glue it with cyanoacrylate. A cart is a working tool, so scuffed paint, oil stains and dust on the wheels suit it.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
