A kit of the French Somua S35 tank in the caricatured form of the World War Toons line, with shortened proportions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Somua S35 was a French tank of the Second World War, well armored and mobile for its day, with a characteristically rounded hull and turret. Here, though, you do not get it in an exact scale but in caricatured form: the line this model belongs to shortens the hull, enlarges the turret and the wheels and keeps only what makes the machine recognizable at first glance. No scale is therefore given for this line, because the proportions are deliberately shifted.
This is a plastic kit, that is a set of parts to assemble and paint; the exact contents of the package are given on the manufacturer's box. Separate the parts with side cutters and sand the marks left behind so that the edges are clean. A caricatured shape favors bold color: the large smooth surfaces spray well and shadow in the seams shows up better than on a faithful model. Anyone who wants can stay with a clean finish without wear, and anyone who wants to play has plenty of room on the enlarged surfaces for richer transitions.
It suits collectors who enjoy a lighter register, and builders who want to make something smaller without filling a display case. It also serves as a first kit for younger modelers under the supervision of someone more experienced.
Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
