Epoxy Sculpting Putty (Smooth Surface) is a two-part epoxy sculpting putty from Tamiya with a fine grain and a smooth surface once cured. The two components are mixed by hand 1:1 into a uniform mass, which you then sculpt precisely. Compared with the fast-curing version it offers a longer working time, so you have more time to shape fine detail. Once cured the mass sands beautifully and gives a very smooth surface.
For more advanced modelers, figure sculptors and converters who need to sculpt fine detail and achieve a smooth surface. It suits anywhere the precision of the shape and the cleanliness of the surface matter more than the speed of curing.
This is an epoxy material — wear protective gloves while mixing and working it, avoid contact with the skin and the eyes, work in a ventilated space and keep out of the reach of children.
