A Kagero publication devoted to seaplanes in the service of the Argentine Navy.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Argentine Navy is among the little-described operators of naval aviation. Seaplanes, that is aircraft able to take off from and land on water, long filled the tasks for which coastal bases with a paved runway were not enough: patrolling over a vast coastline and the waters along it, maintaining contact with remote stations and working with ships. It is exactly this setting that the publication is devoted to.
A title from Kagero, focused on seaplanes in Argentine naval service. It is aviation literature, which matches the kind of goods it is: a publication, not a kit and not an accessory set. The title of the book is given in English.
It suits best anyone looking for a subject outside the usual run of European and American machines. Background on a less common operator decides whether a model can be built in a credible form: it is a matter of choosing the machine, of its markings and of the state of the surface, which on an aircraft operated over salt water looks different from a land-based one. A collector and a reader who does not build models and is interested in the history of naval aviation will get something out of it too.
This is a publication. A model, a kit, decals and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
