Few publishers turn up on modelling benches as often as Kagero. The output concentrates on monographs of individual machines, picture-led volumes from the battlefields and scale drawing documentation, and a number of titles include a decal sheet in common modelling scales. This section is split both by type of subject and by editorial series, so you can choose by the machine you are building or by the kind of reference you need. Below we set out what each series contains.
A typical volume combines archive photographs, a description of production versions and colour profiles of specific machines. The profiles are the most valuable part for a builder: they show how camouflage was distributed across every surface and where national insignia and tactical numbers sat. Many titles are published bilingually in Polish and English, so the text is readable without Polish, and the visual material works regardless.
You can work through the range by machine. Aviation monographs lean towards fighters and bombers, armour titles towards tanks, assault guns and tank destroyers, and the naval volumes towards individual ships and submarines plus multi-part archive collections.
If you need shapes and dimensions, go to the scale plan series. If you need colours and markings, go to the profile series, where a decal sheet is bound in. One series is built on photographic documentation, another gives extended treatment to less commonly covered types, and a further one walks through a complete model build.
Subjects to build sit in aircraft model kits and military vehicle kits, paints for the schemes in model paints, and monographs from other publishers in reference books on real machines.
