Fiat 595 is a kit of the small Italian car made of plastic bricks — the parts click together, with no glue, no painting and no tools.

A model of the small Italian Fiat 595 car put together from plastic bricks. The parts click into one another and hold without glue, and the bricks are colored from the factory. The set belongs to the car range of the COBI brand, in which smaller models of passenger cars buildable in one evening are made. The result is a finished model for a display case — it needs no glue, no paints and no sanding.
The Fiat 595 is a more sportingly tuned derivative of the Fiat 500, the small rear-engined car that gave affordable mobility to hundreds of thousands of people in postwar Italy. Against the basic form it was given a stronger engine and a revised suspension setting, but the small external dimensions and the characteristic rounded shapes remained. It is precisely that silhouette that makes the 595 a rewarding subject for a kit: it is recognizable at first glance even with a small number of parts and it keeps its proportions in brick form.
The build goes from a picture guide step by step. Before you start, sort the bricks by color — on small sets that halves the time. Click the parts in straight down rather than at an angle, otherwise the small fittings will not catch over their whole area. To separate them, use a plastic brick separator or the edge of another brick, not a knife. Do not leave the finished model in direct sunlight, as colored plastic fades over time. If the set holds stickers, apply them only to a fully built and wiped part, otherwise they hold badly.
This is a kit of plastic bricks, not a plastic model. Glue, paints and filler are not needed and are not included in the package.
