Ford V3000S Maultier Ambulance is a kit of plastic bricks from the brand COBI. The half-track ambulance vehicle is assembled without glue and without painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a classic plastic model on injection-molded sprues but a kit of plastic bricks. The parts are joined by clicking them together, so you need neither glue, nor a knife, nor paints for the build. The set belongs to the historical military line from COBI and represents the ambulance version of the half-track truck Ford V3000S Maultier. The particular number of parts and the exact contents of the package are stated on the box.
The Ford V3000S was a three-ton truck produced during the Second World War in Germany. The designation Maultier denotes the half-track conversion: in place of the driven rear axle the vehicle was given tracked running gear, which markedly improved its ability to get through mud and snow on the Eastern Front, where ordinary wheeled trucks got stuck. The ambulance version had a closed box body for carrying the wounded. Technically it is a typical example of an improvised half-track conversion of a production truck chassis.
Sort the bricks by color and size before the build. The tracked running gear and the box body are the most demanding parts of the assembly; follow the instructions exactly and check the orientation of the parts, so that they carry on from one another. The joints are firm, and for taking them apart use a lever or flat tweezers. Painting is not needed; if you want to unify the model with a matte varnish or add a dust patina, test the product first on a hidden brick.
The kit is supplied unassembled. The bricks are colored, and neither glue nor paints are needed or included in the package.
