GERMAN STANDARD 37-44 SET

German standard shades 1937-44 - a set of paints

This is a set of modeling paints, not a kit. It contains the standard shades used on German ground vehicles in the period from 1937 to 1944. In the early period dark gray (Dunkelgrau) was used as a uniform finish; from the spring of 1943 a three-color system was introduced, with a sand yellow base (Dunkelgelb) rounded out by green (Olivgrün) and red-brown (Rotbraun) for disruptive patterns. The set therefore covers the development of German camouflage across most of the war.

Use

• Apply the paints over a primer in thin coats with a brush or an airbrush.
• Carry out the thinning and the cleaning according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
• The early scheme is a uniform dark gray finish; the late scheme is a yellow base with green and brown patches.
• Before decals and weathering we recommend going over the surface with a clear coat.

Who the set is for

For modelers of German ground vehicles of the Second World War who want the period-correct standard shades together in one place.

The thinning and the safety instructions follow the manufacturer's information on the packaging; work in a ventilated space. It is not part of a kit.
