MH models Glass Balls Paint Mixers are glass mixing balls (a package of about 50 pcs) that you drop into a bottle of paint and that stir the settled pigment back in when the bottle is shaken.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of small glass balls from the manufacturer MH models that serve as a stirrer inside a bottle of paint. You drop a ball (or two) into the paint, close the bottle and shake it thoroughly before use - the ball travels from the bottom to the surface and stirs in the pigment that has settled at the bottom. The paint then has the right shade and covering power again.
What it is and what it is not: this is an aid for mixing paints, not a paint, a thinner or microbeads meant for creating textures, snow or ballast in a model. The balls do not change the composition of the paint in any way - they only help mechanically with the mixing.
Glass is chemically inert toward paints - it does not react with the binder or with solvents and it does not rust. A metal ball of unsuitable quality can corrode in paint and ruin the shade; glass does not have that problem and takes acrylics, enamels and lacquer paints alike. The balls can be used again and again - once a bottle is empty it is enough to clean them with a suitable thinner and use them again.
For every modeler who works with bottled paints, and especially for those who spray with an airbrush - paint that has not been mixed through is the most common cause of an uneven shade, graininess and a clogged airbrush. A small aid with a large influence on the result.
Safety: small parts. Keep out of the reach of children - there is a danger of swallowing or inhaling. Not for the hands of small children or for play.
