About product

AK Interactive Gloss Medium (17 ml)

Gloss Medium is an acrylic auxiliary medium, that is a colorless gloss water-based binder. It is NOT a paint - it contains no pigment and does not cover. It is used for thinning acrylic paints, for raising gloss and for creating a smooth gloss surface, for example as a base under decals. It comes in a 17 ml bottle and is thinned with water.

Use

  • It is added to acrylic paints to raise the gloss of a shade.
  • It thins paint for brush and airbrush without breaking the binder.
  • It creates a smooth gloss surface as a base under decals.
  • It can be used as a gloss binder for glazes and effects.

Who it is for

For modelers and figure painters who work with acrylic paints and need to control gloss and consistency.

Water-thinnable, low odor. Even so, work in a ventilated room and protect it from frost.
