A gold shade from the Oilbrushers range by AMMO of Mig Jimenez. It is used for weathering and for finishing work on small metal details.
Responsibility details are not available.
Gold is not used on a model as an area color but in small things: brass and gilded fittings, decorative features, items of equipment or the worn edges of metal objects. It therefore comes into play in the final stage of work, when the model receives its last layers of wear and the surface stops looking like a uniform coat.
A gold shade from the Oilbrushers range by AMMO of Mig Jimenez, a weathering product. The thinner intended for this range and the recommended procedure are stated by the manufacturer on the package. Follow those instructions: products from different ranges need not be compatible with one another, and on a finished model that shows up too late.
Apply weathering to a dry, unified surface, never to fresh paint. Always start with a small amount, because it can be added at any time and taken away far less easily. Apply the paint in spots and blend it in the direction in which water runs over the real surface, that is from top to bottom. On metal edges only a hint looks good; as soon as the gold tone appears everywhere, it stops working. Try the procedure first on a piece of scrap plastic painted the same way as the model, so that you know how the shade behaves on your base.
The thinner and a model are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
