Grabber Lime is a conspicuous green-yellow from the factory palette of Ford Mustang cars. At Ford the Grabber label belongs to a group of deliberately loud shades meant to set a car apart from the traffic around it, and this one belongs among them fully. On a model it behaves just as it does on a real car: it draws attention to the shapes of the body, but at the same time it mercilessly shows up every unevenness of the surface, so preparation pays off twice over with it.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before use, so that the settled pigment is returned to the whole volume. The thinner intended for this line and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging, and follow the same instruction for cleaning your tools. A deep green-yellow covers badly over a dark base, so lay it over a light primer and build it up from several thin coats. Wash and degrease the surface of the model in advance; on greasy plastic the paint holds unreliably and peels off during masking.
A shade on a color chart and a shade on a body do not look the same, so try the paint on a scrap piece of plastic before you touch the model. The deep gloss of a body comes only from clear coat and polishing it, not from a heavier coat of paint. If you plan a two-tone form, let the paint dry out properly before masking, otherwise it will come away with the tape. Close the bottle carefully after use and store it dry, away from frost and direct sun.
Thinner, clear coat, brushes and an airbrush are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
