A universal masking stencil with a hexagonal grid, size L measuring 14.0 x 20.0 cm.
Responsibility details are not available.
A stencil with a hexagonal grid is a universal masking aid and is not tied to one model or to one scale. It works anywhere a surface is to get a regular structure: on camouflage put together from areas, on imitations of panels and grids on hulls and beds, on bases and accessories for dioramas. Size L measures 14.0 x 20.0 cm, so it is enough even for a larger continuous area and you do not have to put the pattern together from small pieces.
The stencil belongs on a surface before the top shade is sprayed, not after it. Let the base coat dry out perfectly, lay the stencil on so that it sits flat over the whole area, and press it down mainly along the edges of the pattern. Apply the paint in several thin coats, perpendicular to the surface and rather at a lower pressure. A heavy coat led at an angle gets under the edge and blurs the edges of the pattern. Lift the stencil off while the paint is fresh and wipe it at once, so that the grid does not get clogged.
It will be appreciated by modelers who spray repeated patterns and do not want to cut them out of tape. Besides hardware and aircraft it also suits science-fiction builds and the areas of dioramas, where a pattern is only meant to suggest the structure of a material. The pattern can also be used as a base for later highlighting or overspraying in another color, so several shades come out of one grid.
The stencil alone is supplied. Paints, thinners, masking tape and a model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
