Hexagonal Bullet-Proof Bolt 1.4 mm offers a hundred armored heads with a hexagon, printed in the Czech Republic, for models in the large scales.
Responsibility details are not available.
A hexagonal head with an armored profile, printed at the manufacturer GAS HANS. The 1.4 mm size is among the upper steps of the size range; a 0.8 mm hole is drilled beforehand and the box holds a hundred pieces.
If a model were built in 1:35, a head like this would measure almost five centimeters on the real subject, which is beyond what appears on tanks in this scale. It is therefore at home in the large scales: in 1:16 it comes out at 2.2 centimeters and in 1:12 at not quite two. It will be reached for by builders of large radio-controlled armored vehicles, of steam engines, of ship decks and of historical agricultural machinery. On mockups of boiler rooms and engine rooms it will serve outside military subjects as well, where scale plays no part.
Against bolts with flats for a wrench, this type has a regular hexagon around its whole circumference. On a large model such a shape is excellently legible, and it is exactly for that reason that it pays to turn the heads to one axis. Hexagons set at odds on a single flange catch the eye at once and spoil the whole impression, even when the build is otherwise carefully done. It pays to draw out the spacing beforehand and to seat them to it, especially on long runs of joints.
Additional tools and glue are not part of the delivery. A hundred pieces will do for several flanges, but as a rule not for a whole large model.
