Hexagonal nuts with washers 1.4 mm

The set contains fine resin (3D printed) hexagonal nuts with a washer, 1.4 mm in size. It is used for superdetailing plastic and resin models, where it replaces coarsely rendered or missing bolted joints with accurate miniatures. The dimension given is the physical size of the part, not the scale of the model, so the larger 1.4 mm nut suits above all more prominent features or models in the larger scales.

Use

• Bringing out bolted joints on armor, engines, landing gear and mechanical assemblies.
• Separate the parts carefully from the carrier frame with a sharp knife or a file.
• They are glued with cyanoacrylate (superglue) applied in a minimum amount.
• Once glued, the nuts can be covered with paint, a wash or a pigment.

For advanced modelers and collectors who want to give their models the highest possible realism. Working with small parts calls for tweezers, patience and a sure hand.

This is a supplementary set of small parts, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
