A precise Master Tools modeling scraper in the upgraded variant with one curved blade. Drawn along the surface it takes off the thinnest shavings of material, so mold seams and imperfections disappear without the risk of flat sanding marks — the curved edge naturally follows rounded surfaces.
For modelers who want a cleaner and faster alternative to files and abrasive paper, especially on rounded surfaces where straight tools easily create a flat spot. You will appreciate it when building aircraft (the seam on the spine and belly of the fuselage), cars (the mold lines on fenders and pillars) and armored hardware (rounded barrels and tanks). Work with light repeated strokes and take the material off gradually — after the scraper a short polish with fine abrasive paper or a polishing sponge is usually enough and the surface is ready for paint. Unlike sanding, no dust is created that works its way into the engraved lines, so it suits final clean-up on partly assembled subassemblies as well.
The blade is sharp — guide the tool with a controlled stroke away from you, and store it with a cap or out of the reach of children.
