A green modeling paint from AMMO of Mig Jimenez for aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force built by Kawasaki.
Responsibility details are not available.
The abbreviation IJA in the name refers to the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force, and Kawasaki was one of its main aircraft suppliers. The individual Japanese factories mixed their green in their own way, so the same camouflage differed in tone on machines from different plants; the shades are therefore distinguished by the name of the aircraft maker. This one is cut for Kawasaki production, that is, for machines such as the Ki-61 fighter.
On the upper surfaces of Japanese Army aircraft of the closing years of the Second World War and for completing a collection of shades in which you already have greens from other Japanese factories. It is also usable as a darker green tone on vehicles and crates in a diorama. Whether the shade matches the finish of your subject is best checked in documentation for the particular machine.
Stir the contents of the bottle thoroughly before work; the pigment settles at the bottom when standing and unstirred paint covers unevenly. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions for this range. With an airbrush apply two or three light coats with a gap for drying, so that the engraved surface stays visible. Japanese finishes chipped a great deal, so it pays to allow for bare metal showing under the paint. Coat the surface with gloss varnish before the decals; the flat coat comes at the end.
The delivery contains the shade of paint given. Thinner, brushes, varnishes and a model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
