The cotton sheet Inkjet Cotton Hotmelt Fabric Sheet by Green Stuff World is printed in an inkjet printer and attached to a base by heat, that is, by ironing.
Responsibility details are not available.
This variant of the printable fabric by Green Stuff World relies on heat instead of glue. The back carries a layer that softens under an iron or a press and, once it cools, joins the cloth to the base. A firmer and less conspicuous joint arises than with the self-adhesive version, because the binder passes into the fibers rather than only resting on the surface. The basis remains cotton, and the result keeps a textile look and feel.
The iron-on rendition makes sense anywhere a print has to survive bending, pulling or wearing: on tunics, tabards, banners and fabric parts of costumes. It also holds well on the foam materials used in costume work, provided you keep the temperature low and protect the surface with an interlayer. In modeling work it suits tarpaulins and fabric covers that are to look pliable.
Makers of costumes and props who want to attach their own artwork permanently, and modelers looking for a textile accessory with a faithful feel.
The package contains neither an iron, nor a printer, nor ink.
